From initial design to completion, our certified designers and installation technicians will
provide you with a truly customized viewing environment. Here are some of the aspects
involved in a typical home theater design from Audio Input:
: Your Home Theater will be designed with you in mind. We don’t offer a "Home Theater in a Box"
solution. We begin by getting to know you and get a feel for how you’ll be using the room.
We will also need to evaluate the room itself. This can be on-site or you can make an appointment
to bring your floor plans by our showroom.
: Audio Input will design a system based on architecture, power requirements, room acoustics,
aesthetics, ease of use, and your budget. A proposal will be presented at this time listing products
and pricing. Once the proposal is accepted more detailed documentation will be generated and provided
to subcontractors. These may include rack layouts, load requirements for electricians and equipment
specifications for custom cabinetry.
: Our Installation Technicians are CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design
and Installation Association) certified. They will work with other trades and review engineering
documents and blueprints. They will handle pre-wiring needs and return to trim out after the walls
are finished and equipment is ready to be installed. All of our installations include a professional
equipment rack. This reduces clutter and allows us to keep the wiring organized, in fact, we custom
make cables using compression fittings. Many times the option is made to keep this rack completely
hidden in a cabinet, closet or separate room.
: All of our systems require a control system. This allows complex tasks to be performed behind the
scenes and making for a reliable and easy to use system. Imagine having the lights dim, thermostat
set, and picture and sound appear all with the press of a single button.
Our programmers will custom design a handheld or tablet based touch panel for your system. If
you can operate an ATM at your bank you’ll be able to control your Home Theater!
: Once your new system has been installed, calibrated and programmed, we’ll
sit down with you and your family to run through its operation. Considering how intuitive the touch
screen’s display will be, this usually takes but a few moments.
: As you enjoy your new Home Cinema experience, you may wish to change or add functionality.
The flexibility in our design will allow you to add features like lighting and climate control in the future!
